Review: Chris Balbosa’s Album – “YOU ARE MINE”

© by Chris Balbosa

The vocal coach, singer and songwriter Chris Balbosa (born Christiana Balbosa) released her first album “You are Mine” in 2007. Balbosa didn’t received the amount of publicity and popularity she deserves and this album demonstrates this to the highest degree.

This point is apparent on carefully listening to the song called ‘You are mine’, which is also the theme song of this album where Balbosa is talking to the Lord in saying “and everywhere I go I’m gonna tell the world that You are mine”. Listening to the way this song is being brought, we at MADForChrist can say that together with “I worship you”, “One Always” and “Without Love”, they are the writer’s heart.

Chris has an obvious eclectic taste in music which is apparent throughout her whole album. The lyrics on this album are inspirational, reflective, self searching and uplifting and the accompaniment with Gita Dan brought a flavor to the album.

The album has 10 tracks which we have the most reviewed and may say that if you are looking for something you can play in your downtime, maybe if you have some friends over, or whilst you are driving, we would definitely recommend this album. At the same time there are some reflective songs that discuss issues such as losing faith, loving, and motivating.

We at MADForChrist would very boldly recommend this album from Chris Balbosa. Chris will be releasing a new Album this year which will also be featured at MADForChrist.
